A Few Moments From This Year.

We did a whole lotta stuff this year and could not possibly document it all, here are some gems from the adventure. We hope you enjoy.

Jess and I built this dwelling on the farm we worked on late last year. Oak forest in northern California.

We flew to New York and stayed upstate for a while.

Tomato soup and sandwiches. Made from Momma Ratliff's recipe.

Then we bought a car and began to drive across the country.

Seashell covered beach on Long Island.

Clearwater Beach, out in East Hampton.

Love ducks in New Jersey

We got a kitty in Georgia. Shes 10 months old now and her name is still Kitty.

Then we drove across the country to the desolate Sonoran wilderness and climbed a mountain. (with kitty)

While we were there we saw a family of wild horses.

They were looking at us like... "what the hell?"

And we were looking at them like..."whoaaaa!"

They ran of into this sunset....and so did we.

On our way out west in north west new mexico.

A sight off the 27 mile road through the petrified forest.

Mars!

Some petrified trees.

A close up of a tree that has been turned into stone.

This raven followed us around a while. It was a little weird but nice. Thought maybe he knew us from another life.

Jess next to an ancient relative.

Sedona AZ was crazy!  It turned the GPS in our phone into backwards confusion maps that led us into dead end streets and spit us out here. No joke!

We only got to spend a little time there. We slept in a library parking lot and woke up surrounded by tons of kids serving hot chocolate. Very strange. Cant wait to go back....maybe climb this mountain.

Met up with some good friends in AZ for the gem show in Quartzite.

Went to work in Tucsan.

This was our camp at about 4000 feet. We stayed there while working the gem show in Tucson AZ. Every night was a unique sunset. One night we met a feral cat here. I thought it was a mountain lion at first. It was friendly.

This is where Kitty learned how to be a badass!

On the way up to Santa Cruz on the California coast

We camped here next to this epic aloe cave and woke up in the misty fog with a ranger rapping on our tent. He turned out to be very cool.
Ofcourse we had to stop in Big Sur.

Cypress on cliff.

Waterfall on the beach.

Yup!

     Back in Santa Cruz.

We sold our rusty car and bought a squeaky van.

And then we painted it brown and converted it into a kick ass home on wheels. Details of that may be in another post.

After the van was set up we drove out to Texas for work with the antique show. This picture is in AZ on our way. There will be no pictures of Texas...lets ust say it was interesting.

To decompress we drove to Florida and first thing we did was swim in the ocean. It was awesome. We started on our way up to NY but kept getting harassed by the police. As it turned out our license plate was for the wrong car. Whoops! So we headed straight back out west to clear things up.

Back in Santa Cruz we fostered a pup. Wilma.

Snail Kitty

And kitty was reunited with the love of her life. Coco.

Juice from right to left.
Beets, carrots, orange, lemon, beet greens, ginger.

We also fostered  a tiny cat. He ate with passion as you can see.

Recently we went backpacking in Big Sur. These are some photos from one of our camps.
Barlow Flats Ventana Wilderness.

Here we are in Santa Cruz...
Relaxing...
Watching the garden grow...
Learning some new skills...
Getting ready for our next adventure.
